Event Details

Contributions 

The Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Foundation (OPPF), with the overarching theme of "Advancing the Understanding of Mental Illness," achieves its mission through programs, awards and collaborative initiatives in three specific areas:

     1. Public Education
     2. Professional Education
     3. Research

One of the important ongoing functions of the OPPF is to raise funds to support the mission of the OPPA, especially in the areas related to educational and research activities. OPPA members are strongly encouraged to support the OPPA by donating their tax-deductible contributions to the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Foundation.

As the charitable arm of the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association, the misson of the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Foundation is to promote the generation, dissemination and application of scientific advances regarding the causes and evidence-based treatments of psychiatric disorders; to raise the public awareness about medical and psychosocial research and education into mental illness in Ohio; and to collaborate with academic, public and private partners as well as advocacy groups for better psychiatric care of Ohioans.
